It's been a couple of months since my last update, sorry for the hiatus again fellow friends, bloggers, and artists. I thought I'd write an update on life before I get ready for the day to leave for morning classes at my college.
December – Christmas monthly season was one of the hardest times for my loved ones of my family, closest family friends, my beloved guy amore B and I, especially on the day before Christmas Eve because that was the day I had lost due to severe health, long term after surgery complications and other things leading to it…sadly we lost my only godson/fifth nephew I lovingly nicknamed "Little Bam", he was just three years old. We buried him with funeral and memorial a week after before New Years. Sometimes it's still hard for my family and me, but I've found ways especially through art to keep me going every day while at the same time keeping his memories alive with me.
January – I took some time off doing art, spent the time spending it with my family, especially my Mum, and time quality wise with B, he's been literally my official loving rock of moral loving support throughout the hard times I've been hit with before and after 2012 came, he's the best thing I have in my life and hope to one day call him my other half, my husband in the future.
February – I've been enrolled for the spring semester at school contently, taking an art course of intermediate drawing with my art mentor's fellow instructors who is such a sweetheart like my female mentor of arts. I've enjoyed using the colorful colors of pastels, prisma-color pencils, and rediscovering my love for watercolor paints. English as a course of another semester of writing away and reading books is keeping me occupied as well. I may have some work from prior previous art exhibition shows featured in a student exhibition of art for school likely in May, time will tell. I also before the semester started, got to see a wonderful group women's art exhibition gallery show at the MK Gallery in Hollywood's Sunset Blvd. area in Los Angeles that had the opening night for both artists I adore respectfully with their work, Lindsay Ballato-Way and Terra McPherson. Their show was amazing with their lovely art pieces individually and getting to meet Mrs. Ballato-Way again and meeting for the first time Ms. McPherson was an honor.
March – March month is looking to be epically awesome for me because mainly I've been looking for a part time job to afford to save up for future traveling trips, the amp for my electric guitar "Misfit", new art supplies a.k.a. art toys and…I AM SEEING FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER HAPPILY MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE "MSI" IN CONCERT WITH MY GUY B AND A FEW MUTAL FRIENDS AT THEIR DATE FOR THE NOKIA LOS ANGELES SHOW AT THE END OF THIS MONTH!
Present Update in Arts: I've been doing the traditional painting and drawing of things with collage pieces for naturally class assignments such as random themes and still life set ups. However, I've been excited to experiment in new types of style of art pieces within the mixed media section of arts. I have been experimenting in paper mache sculpture pieces in both human and animal style concepts made out of mainly wires, molding wire, different types of paper, mainly recycled newspapers. As well as sculptures, I have been trying my hands at making mixed media theme concept assemblage three-dimensional art pieces and doll-like sculptures. With new portfolios to be made ASAP, I will be trying to submit my work to art galleries within my city and in the LA arts districts, so time will tell if I have new galleries to put my art pieces in.
Until my next post, adios!

Back from the Dead!
Sorry for the long delay of absence everyone, I was occupied greatly with spring semester at city college. (Just one more year ½ until I am finally finished with requirement classes to graduate with my art degree! Fingers crossed!) So what’s been going on for me lately?
I’ve taken a break from digital still life and band indie photography to concentrate on making art, doing group exhibition shows, and plans of making my own art feminist riot grrrl online shop/store. Yes, I am taking the plunge. My shop website will be unveiled online coming soon in the near future, for now it’s a work in progress. I’ll be selling
Team Coco, Midterms, Art, Rocky Horror
I cannot wait for Team Coco tonight, t-minus two hours until we all get to see Gerard Way’s solo debut performance on Conan’s Tonight Show on TBS! Congratulations to Gerard! Way to go Coco! :#1: :salute:
I survived barely the fall semester midterms in one class but came out with a C- in the class so far, my other two classes instructors don’t believe in midterms so thank god! I’m ahead in two classes with hopefully two B's. One of my classes were cancelled today so it’s officially pushed back my group three’s presentation for class back; we’re presenting next week on Monday instead of today. (ItR
Summertime Ending, Awaiting Autumn Season
Summer will be ending soon for me in about two weeks, before I enter another semester of fall in college. I’ll miss how great this summer holiday vacation has been for me and my guy B.
I spent most of my vacation sleeping, catching up on sleep with cat naps here and there. Took time to just enjoy more time with my geek friends along with my boyfriend B playing dungeons and dragons with other role play games. Since we couldn’t go to Comic Con San Diego, we optioned for just kicking around the comic shops locally in town, stocked up happily on Star Wars, Deadpool, and GOTG’s own Rocket Raccoon comic issues to add to my comic
Winter so far
It’s been quite the ride since Christmas holidays ended. So I thought I’d summarize what’s gone down and keep it short.
November-December:
· The autumn semester of college was predictable. I passed my stress management/meditation/yoga and animation: beginning principles with a 3.00 GPA. THAT WAS A FLIPPING RELIEF BEYOND RELIEF!
· Christmas season was quite the rollercoaster ride! I baked, made/bought wrapped gifts for family, friends, best friends, and my boyfriend with his family. I received some great gifts from geek stuff, pajama pants of Adventure Time, candy, gift cards, cash, etc.
